Habakkuk 3:13

Biblical Context

The passage describes God going forth to save His people with the anointed, exposing the wicked by revealing their foundation from root to neck. It invites the inner believer to recognize salvation as an inner state of consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the quiet center of your being, thou wentest forth is the continuous movement of the I AM stepping into action to save the entire sense of self. The 'anointed' is your awakened self-concept—the sacred idea you hold of yourself as whole and free. When you permit this I AM to move, the 'wicked'—old habits, fear, and limitation—are not fought but understood as signals to revise belief. By discovering the foundation unto the neck, you see that the structure of limitation rests on a belief rooted in thought; as you realize salvation comes from within, the whole edifice loosens from top to bottom. The Selah is the stillness that follows revelation, a pause where the new self rests in its own truth. This is not a future event but a present state of awareness: the anointing you cling to becomes the reality you live.

Practice This Now

Assume the state 'I AM salvation now' and revise one limiting belief. Visualize the foundation of your mind revealed from root to neck, and feel the old self dissolve.
