25And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
Genesis 9:25

Biblical Context

The verse declares that Canaan is cursed to be a servant among his brothers.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, this decree is not fate but a mirror of the mind in a moment of identifying with separation. Canaan stands for a region of consciousness you have allowed to feel distinct from the rest of your being. When you say that one part should be a servant of servants unto the others, you are narrating a belief that some facet of you must forever bow before another. The brethren are the other aspects of the same I AM, the whole of you. The outward word reflects an inner rhythm: to the degree you accept division, you experience limitation in form and role. Yet the Kingdom of God is your true state, and the I AM can revise any decree by consenting to unity. Reclaim the throne of your inner kingdom now; imagine each part of you standing in equal light, free of subservience, jointly manifesting harmony, abundance, and peace. Your life becomes the living revision the moment you refuse to identify with the cursed caste and choose your sovereign unity.

Practice This Now

Assume the revised state now: I AM the ruler of all my inner states; nothing within me is condemned to bondage. Then breathe into that conviction and feel every part of you harmonize in the light of unity.
