The Inner Ark Covenant
Genesis 6:14-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Genesis 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God commands Noah to build an ark of specific design, and Noah obeys, entering the covenant to save life.
Neville's Inner Vision
Truthfully, the ark is the vessel you build in the mind to endure the deluge of old conditions. 'Gopher wood' becomes your steadfast substance—the fixed states of consciousness you choose to trust. The rooms, the pitch inside and out, are the deliberate arrangements of your awareness, sealing in truth and sealing out fear. The dimensions—three hundred, fifty, thirty—mark levels of awareness: breadth of understanding, height of spiritual vision, length of time you remain within your chosen state. The window is your attention—what light do you allow to shine from above? The door on the side is the decision you make when the flood arrives: you enter, you close, you inhabit the ark with your family of thoughts and feelings—the two of every kind—your male and female energies in balance, the animal passions under governance of imagination. The flood is not punishment; it is the tempest of old beliefs being displaced by the covenant you affirm: I will establish my covenant with you. Then, you act as Noah did—strict obedience to the inner command, not outward fear. By faith, you enter the ark and survive by the power of inner assurance.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume you have entered your inner ark. Feel the walls and door of the vessel; bless your life with the I AM presence and declare the covenant within.
