The Inner Ark of Consciousness
Genesis 6:14-17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Genesis 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage shows an ark built to survive a coming flood; salvation comes through careful preparation and obedience.
Neville's Inner Vision
See that the ark is not a mere vessel of wood but the state of your own consciousness. The flood is the surge of fear, doubt, and old stories that would erase your sense of I AM. When God declares the waters, he is declaring the power of awareness that moves within you; the three hundred by fifty by thirty cubits symbolize the structured life you arrange in your mind—three stories of attention, a window of expanded perception, a door by which you enter and exit. The pitch inside and out is the sealing of belief against the dampness of limitation. Obedience here means consistently returning your imagination to the fact that you are the I AM, not the storm you observe. As you hold to this inner decree, you become the Noah of your own life, not fleeing the flood but riding it by remaining true to your inner ark. The external world will shift to match the inner alignment you have practiced.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already inside the ark of your mind. Visualize its rooms, window, and door, and feel the I AM guiding you through the flood of circumstance.
