Biblical Context
Joseph proclaims that God will visit his people and guide them to the promised land; he also asks that they carry his bones out of Egypt, and then he dies.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this scene the visitation is not a place found on a map but the I AM awakening within your own consciousness. The land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob becomes the state of awareness where limitation falls away. Exile is a dream of separation, dissolved the moment you acknowledge that God is vibrating at the core of your being. Joseph’s instruction to carry his bones is a symbol: your old self and its memory can be honored yet not allowed to govern your forward motion. The burial in Egypt shows respect for the past while the real exodus arises as you live from the certainty that God will visit you now. Your inheritance is the living promise you are already in the divine home, not wandering toward it. This is Covenant loyalty enacted in consciousness: to remain faithful to the I AM as your sole ruler. Practice this by claiming, I AM with you; I am already led home, and the exodus is your present reality.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already in the promised land; feel the exodus now in your chest. Then close your eyes, place a hand on your heart, and repeat 'God will surely visit me' until the feeling of arrival is present.
