Inner Field Inheritance

Genesis 49:32 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Genesis 49 in context

Scripture Focus

32The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth.
Genesis 49:32

Biblical Context

The verse states that the field and cave were purchased from the children of Heth, securing a formal claim to land. It frames inheritance as an act of purchase and covenant, not mere kinship.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the field and cave are not land to be desired out there but shifts of consciousness you enter by faith. The purchase from the children of Heth becomes the moment you consent to ownership in your own heart—your covenant self affirming that you already possess what you seek. In this scripture, Jacob does not barter with stone but with belief; so do you, when you revise your sense of self from lack to fullness. The land stands for your realm of supply; the cave, a shelter in the inner night, a place of security where you feel the care of your I AM. By imagining you already possess the field, you align with the I AM within, and your mind’s currency—love, faith, imagination—acts as the deed. The purchasers are the states you drop, the beliefs you release, and the new consciousness you inhabit. This is not pursuit but acceptance: you are the owner of your inner estate, and provision follows.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine you already own the inner field and cave. Revise your sense of self to reflect this ownership and feel it real now.
