Neville's Inner Vision

In this moment, the Bible whispers what I know: life is not a chain of events outside you, but a festival of inner states. When Israel says, I had not thought to see thy face, he names the surprising return of a desired state, the coming to fruition of a seed planted in consciousness. The phrase God hath shewed me also thy seed is not about history before the eyes, but about awareness shining upon a previously unseen possibility. The old man’s knees become the symbolic place where the old life yields to the new; Joseph rising and bringing his brothers forth is the inner alignment of a dream with its companion feeling. The bow to the earth is your reverence to the I AM within you, the God that you are; it is submission to the order that your inward vision has revealed. If you dwell in this inner room, you will know that blessing and lineage are already present as states of consciousness — not in time, but in the now of awareness. Your task is to revise any doubt by lingering in the certainty that God has shewn you your seed.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and accept, in the I AM, that this seed is present now. Rehearse the scene of the family gathered and bow to your inner God, feeling gratitude that it is already done.
