Genesis 47:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Joseph arranges for Jacob's family to settle in Goshen, the best land, and suggests capable men among them rule Pharaoh's cattle; Jacob blesses Pharaoh.
Neville's Inner Vision
I come to see Genesis 47:6-7 as a map of the mind. The land before thee is not a place but a state of consciousness you choose to occupy. The invitation to dwell in the best land—Goshen—is your invitation to relocate within your own I AM. In that inner country, harmony and abundance reside; the 'men of activity' among them are the faculties you trust—imagination, faith, discernment—appointed as rulers over the cattle of the outer world. By setting these rulers over appearances, you stop wandering and begin governing from within. Jacob blessing Pharaoh is the inner self blessing the outer form when you acknowledge your power and move with authority instead of fear. Thus the scene is a symbolic demonstration: settle in the favorable state, let the inner king govern the outer, and watch the outer conditions align. This is the method: dwell in the consciousness that already possesses the goods; let imagination do the ruling, and the Kingdom manifests as your experience.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume you are dwelling in Goshen now, the best land. appoint a single active faculty to oversee a present concern, and feel the relief as if the outcome is already true.
