Genesis 45:14-15

Biblical Context

Joseph reunites with his brothers; he falls on Benjamin's neck and weeps. He then kisses all of them, and they talk together.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through the inner eye, the scene is your own consciousness reuniting with its scattered aspects. The neck where he falls is the vulnerability of relationship within you, the place where you allow your formerly walled self to lean into another facet and melt. The tears are not sorrow but the release of separation inside you—an emotional revision that says, I am one with all my parts. When Joseph kisses his brothers, it is the inner heart kissing the old judgments goodbye and welcoming mercy, compassion, and reconciliation into your mind. The talking that follows is the new dialogue of peace: you speak with formerly estranged identities, and their responses form the new alignment of your life. This is not history; it is your present state of consciousness awakening to its unity. By believing that you are the I AM, you claim that this inner family gathering already exists in you now, and the outer world will reflect that harmony.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling of reunion now: imagine embracing the Benjamin within and letting tears fall as release. Then revise any old grievance by speaking peace to your inner brothers and listening to their new, loving response.
