Genesis 45:12-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Genesis 45 in context

Scripture Focus

12And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh unto you.
13And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither.
Genesis 45:12-13

Biblical Context

Joseph tells his brothers to report to their father about his glory in Egypt and all they have seen, and to hasten to bring Jacob down to him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Joseph’s statement that it is his mouth that speaks points to the I AM speaking through you. The “glory in Egypt” is not a boast of power but the outward proof of an inward state mastered within the psyche, a consciousness that has transformed limitation into authority. When he says you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, he instructs you to bear witness from your innermost Source about the results you have seen, validating the reality you have assumed. To “bring down my father hither” invites your higher self to enter the present life, allowing the inner state to become visible in outward form. The brothers’ eyes may see, but true sight arises from your state of awareness. You are called to claim this inner sovereignty, confess it, and let the evidence of your I AM converge with your outer world. The scene is a reminder: you rule by imagination, and your I AM is the only reality you must know.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling: I am the I AM speaking through me now. Tell my inner father of this glory and invite this realization to manifest in my life today.
