Providence operates as a constant rearrangement of inner dispositions toward trust and possibility. By naming, Joseph affirms that the divine pattern is already in place: a past of struggle is revised; a future of plenty is imagined into being in the present moment. You too can enact this now: identify the inner states you want to dwell in, declare their name, and feel the new reality as if it already were. When you live from the I AM, you are Manasseh and Ephraim together, and the apparent outward trials become the soil in which your inner fruit grows.
