Biblical Context

Pharaoh sees a man filled with the Spirit of God, and Joseph's wisdom is revealed as the result. The passage points to an inner source of discernment rather than mere cleverness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Genesis 41:38-39 shows a man so filled with the Spirit that Pharaoh asks, Can we find such a one? The answer hidden in the text is that the Spirit of God is not far but present as the I AM in every state of consciousness. When Joseph speaks and governs the land, you are witnessing the fruits of a consciousness that has recognized its own sovereignty. The Spirit of God is not a person outside you; it is the vibration of awareness you are now. Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this becomes an inward revelation: once you have allowed or assumed that God within you has shown you your own designs, there is no other voice of wisdom but that God-state. Your inner Pharaoh recognizes your state and grants you authority because you have disciplined your mind to be discreet and wise through faith in the inner Spirit. Practice this: dwell in the awareness that you are the I AM, and let decisions arise from that inner wisdom rather than fear or past conditioning. The outer world will reflect the inner state that you assume.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and declare: I AM the Spirit of God within me. Revise any limiting story and assume Godstate; let wisdom guide your next actions.
