Awakening The Inner Seed

Genesis 4:25-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Genesis 4 in context

Scripture Focus

25And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
26And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
Genesis 4:25-26

Biblical Context

Adam bears Seth, beginning a new lineage after Abel. Enos is born, and soon people begin calling on the name of the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

These lines are not about ancient genealogies but about inner states. Seth stands for a renewal seed planted in consciousness when you cease identifying with Cain's violence and fear. 'God, said she, hath appointed me another seed' reveals the mind's conviction that life can renew itself from within. Enos, then, is the birth of a fresh awareness; and the moment 'men began to call upon the name of the LORD' marks the turning point: you begin to call upon the I AM within. The LORD within is your awareness that does not plead for power from outside but recognizes its own creative authority. When you assume the Seth-state, prayer becomes natural, faith and trust arise as the rhythm of your attention. The outer scenes may continue, but your inner posture is restored: you are the witness, you are the I AM, and you call on that name until restoration becomes your ordinary state.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume you are Seth in yourself—renewed seed, a birth in consciousness. Quietly name the LORD within and feel the I AM rise; let worship be your automatic state and observe your world aligning with that new seed.
