Prison Stewardship of Prosperity

Genesis 39:22-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Genesis 39 in context

Scripture Focus

22And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.
23The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.
Genesis 39:22-23

Biblical Context

The keeper of the prison entrusts Joseph with all the prisoners. Whatever Joseph does prospers because the LORD is with him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Joseph's prison is a condition of mind, not a stone cell. The keeper of the prison stands for outer conditions that would normally govern outcomes, yet in Joseph you hear the I AM at work. The LORD with him is awareness—the conviction that God's presence animates every act. Because this presence abides, Joseph becomes the doer of all that is done there; not by force over others, but by the alignment of interior life with creative power. When your attention rests on that inner reality, your actions draw forth order, prosperity, and meaning from any circumstance. The outer world stops dictating what you must do; instead your inner state dictates the effect your deeds have. In this light, prosperity is not a privilege of favored seasons but a law of consciousness: with the Lord with you, what you do is made to prosper. You, too, can inhabit this state now, and your next task will unfold under the quiet guidance of I AM.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, declare, 'I am with the LORD; the LORD is with me; everything I do prospers now.' Feel that inner presence steady your hand as you begin or continue your work.
