Jacob's Renewed Divine Blessing

Genesis 35:9 tells us that God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him. In Neville's light, this is not a history lesson about a man long ago, but a symbol of the self revisiting its own state of I AM. The journey from Padanaram stands for the mind's exiles and labor, the illusions of separation. When the I AM awakens to itself—the God within—appearance arises as a renewal of awareness, and blessing follows as the recognizing of your true nature: you are already blessed, already guided, already in covenant with the infinite. Jacob's receiving occurs as the inner shift from mere striving to the certainty that God is present here and now. The blessing is not external grace slid onto him; it is the inner revelation that grace has always belonged to the one who is aware. So you, too, may expect a fresh visitation: an inner realization that you have never left the divine presence, and that providence and favor are the texture of your life when you suspend doubt and rest in I AM.
