The four hundred men symbolize the density of doubt, the many 'reasons' why life must be fought and defended. Yet the Father within, the I AM, is always present to revise the situation by feeling its end already attained. If you claim that God's grace reconciles all, you will not need to flee or barter; you will greet the coming Esau with the scent of peace in your heart. Providence is not a distant force but the assurance that your inner state precedes every external event. Change the state, and you change the event.
