The Well of Unified Flocks
Genesis 29:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Three flocks gather at a common well, and water the sheep when the great stone is rolled away. After watering, they roll the stone back onto the mouth.
Neville's Inner Vision
I see Genesis 29:2-3 as a map of inner life. The well is your central I AM—the awake, knowing presence that feeds every part of you. The three flocks represent the three streams of your experience—your duties, your desires, and your relationships—gathered at the same living source. The stone on the well's mouth is a stubborn belief, a habit of limitation that blocks flow. When you affirm and occupy a new state of consciousness, these flocks no longer wait for permission; you roll away the stone by the act of assumption, and water—life, energy, possibility—streams forth to nourish all parts of your being. The fact that all flocks water there shows that unity precedes action—coherence comes before outward change. Providence and guidance arise not from without but as the renewed awareness that you are the one Source feeding every flock. In this moment, trust that your inner water meets every need; through inward unity, you awaken abundance outwardly without struggle.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and assume the inner well is always full. Feel the water nourishing every aspect of your life—the duties, desires, and relationships—until unity becomes your default reality.
