Scripture Focus

23And he went up from thence to Beersheba.
24And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.
25And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac's servants digged a well.
Genesis 26:23-25

Biblical Context

Isaac goes to Beersheba; the LORD appears at night and promises, 'I am with thee' and to bless and multiply, then Isaac builds an altar, calls on the LORD, and his servants dig a well.

Neville's Inner Vision

Suppose this story is about you. Beersheba is the current state of your consciousness where you stand under the assurance that the I AM is with you. The night appearance is the inner visitation when the I AM speaks, 'I am the God of Abraham thy father,' not as history but as your own awakening: fear not, for I am with thee. The blessing promised is the fertility of your life, a rising seed through the recognized presence of God in you. The altar you see Isaac build is your deliberate worship—an act of turning thoughts toward gratitude, invoking the name of the LORD, which is your awareness. Pitched his tent there, a symbol that you choose to dwell in this truth rather than in lack; and there Isaac's servants digged a well, the living supply of life that flows from the consciousness that you inhabit. In all this, the external events become signs of your internal state: a settled God-state producing blessing, shelter, and abundance wherever you are.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes; assume you are already the God-state that blesses your life. Feel it real, and plant an inner altar by calling upon the LORD and dwelling there.
