Genesis 26:2-3

Biblical Context

God instructs Isaac not to go to Egypt but to dwell where God will show him. He promises His presence and blessing for Isaac and his descendants.

Neville's Inner Vision

Genesis 26:2-3 speaks the language of the I AM, not geography. Isaac is told, 'Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land I shall tell thee of' - a call to stay in the consciousness God reveals. 'Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee' means: right now, the divine presence is your constant company; your safety and blessing ride on that conviction. The promise, 'unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries,' declares your inner land to be fertile as your awareness expands. 'I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father' is the covenant memory awakened within you today. You are not asked to conquer distant soil but to inhabit a present reality where God is I AM. Trust this inner placement and outward abundance follows as the natural echo of the inner decree.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and affirm, 'I AM with me; I dwell in the land shown to me now.' Feel the blessing as already real and carry that sense into your day.
