Neville's Inner Vision

What you are asked to see here is not a journey of distance but a movement of consciousness. Abraham’s action of burying Sarah is the act of laying to rest an old state and inviting a new life into your awareness. The cave of Machpelah becomes the inner tomb of memory, a sanctuary where the past is released; Machpelah, Mamre, Hebron are inner stations in your imagination, the land of the promise taking form in you. This is covenant loyalty: the I AM remains faithful to its own truth, even when outward signs seem unchanged. The Presence of God is not outside you but within—your I AM witnessing the rite as already accomplished. When you stand within this scene, you are asked to accept that your inner state must precede outer change. In your own life, you can perform this burial of the old self in imagination and awaken to the life already prepared in your consciousness.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and revise by declaring, 'I have buried the old self and now dwell in the promised land of my awareness.' Feel it as real in this moment.
