Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The angels warn Lot to gather his family and belongings and flee the city, for destruction is imminent as the cry of the inhabitants reaches the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Genesis 19:12–13 speaks to you as a decisive inner warning. The 'men' are the messengers of your higher state of awareness—your I AM recognizing a consciousness no longer fit for full life. The city is not a place but a pattern of limitation you have tolerated: fear, habit, identifications that say 'this is all there is.' When they say, 'bring them out,' they call you to gather the beings you have identified with—your habits, beliefs, and relationships that keep you bound—and physically remove them from the old state. The line 'the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD' is your growing awareness of cause and effect: the inner cry of your old state has reached the level of the divine law, demanding dissolution. 'the LORD hath sent us to destroy it' marks the authority of your I AM initiating the end of that state and ushering in a new form of living. Thus, judgment in the inner realm clears the way for your true self to emerge, not by punishment, but by alignment with the living presence within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you have already departed that old state; feel the relief as you step into a new consciousness represented by light and open air. Then repeat: I am free now from that old pattern.
