Abram's Inner Covenant of Wealth
Genesis 14:22-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Abram refuses any gain from the king of Sodom, lifting his hand to the LORD and vowing not to claim wealth from others. He keeps only what his allies have eaten, preserving his integrity.
Neville's Inner Vision
All outer scenes are but inner movements. Abram’s vow is a state-creation, not a historical detail. When he says, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the Most High, he signals the I AM as the sole source of supply. Wealth is not gained by bowing to a king or by external fortune; it flows from alignment with the divine idea. Refusing even a thread from the king of Sodom is a bold declaration that his riches arise from inner trust, not from another’s hand. The clause about the portions for the men who went with him preserves the sacred boundary between personal integrity and outward generosity; it keeps his inner covenant intact. You can practice this by revising any belief that wealth comes from an outside grant. Assume you are already the possessor of heaven and earth, and feel that supply flows from your state of consciousness, not from someone else’s stash.
Practice This Now
Assume the line: I have lifted up mine hand unto the LORD, the Most High, the possessor of heaven and earth. Feel the reality of supply flowing from within and revise any belief in lack until abundance is your normal state.
