Genesis 14:20

Biblical Context

Abram is blessed by the Most High after delivering his enemies, and he tithes of all to honor God.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner economy of the soul, the Most High God is not an external God apart from you. The victory over imagined enemies shows that your consciousness has been delivered into the field of your own I AM. The act of tithing, giving 'of all,' is your acknowledgment that all that exists flows from the One within. The man Abram becomes an inner character who recognizes the supply and fertility of his inner world; the gift is not an expenditure but a consent to the truth that God is the source. Tithing is gratitude that consolidates the experience: you do not cling to the value you have won, you return a portion to the Source, thereby harmonizing your state with abundance. The blessing spoken is your own inner decree of success—‘the Most High has delivered my enemies’—and the currency of that decree is the recognition of God as all in all. Your present feeling is the proof: you are guided, protected, provided for by your inner government, and you respond with generous acknowledgment.

Practice This Now

Practice: Close your eyes, feel the victory as already realized, and mentally tithe a tenth of all you have to the I AM within.
