Cross Inside, World Behind
Galatians 6:14-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Galatians 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul declares that glory belongs only to the cross; the world is crucified to him, and he is crucified to the world. In Christ, outward distinctions count for nothing; the true life is a new creation, and those who live by this rule enjoy peace and mercy in the Israel of God.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scripture I hear the inner drama of the I AM. The cross is not a history to ponder but a turning of consciousness toward your own center. When I say the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world, I am choosing to separate my identity from outer conditions and to align with the inner life that Christ represents. Being in Christ Jesus means no longer counting on outward signs, for I am a new creature, a fresh state of being. To walk according to this rule is to live by the inner law of grace, renewal, and mercy. Peace and mercy become my natural atmosphere, the Israel of God a temple of awareness within me. Practice this inward alignment and you will see your circumstances bend to reflect your renewed mind.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the new creation is your current state. Feel the inner cross dissolving old limits and let peace and mercy flood your life.
