Galatians 4:1-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Galatians 4:1-5 speaks of the heir who, while a child, is like a servant under tutors until the time appointed by the Father; Christ comes to redeem those under the law so that we may receive the adoption as sons.
Neville's Inner Vision
The verse invites you to awaken from childhood consciousness. The heir who governs all while still a child remains indistinguishable from a servant because his awareness is not yet aligned with his real power. The 'elements of the world' are the old habits and beliefs that bind the ego. When the inner timing—your inner sense of the I AM—ripens, the Father sends forth His Son, the Christ within, not as a distant event but as your renewed sense of self, enabling redemption from former bondage. This redemption is the rekindling of your identity as a son of God, adopted into conscious fullness. You do not become someone new; you realize who you already are. The adoption is a shift in identity from subjection to the discipline of self into a state of inner mastery. Imagination is the instrument by which this adoption materializes: cease arguing with lack and assume the truth of your abundance, feeling it as real within this moment.
Practice This Now
Assume now that you are the adopted son; feel that royal status filling your chest and carry it for a few conscious breaths, then revise any sense of lack as already overcome.
