Awakening the Inner Heir
Galatians 4:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Galatians 4:1 says the heir, while still a child, behaves like a servant, even though the estate is his; maturity reveals the lordship that already belongs to him.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner courtroom of your mind, the heir is a child who has not yet awakened to his true estate. The outward role of a servant is but a mistaken identification, for you are the I AM, the One who holds all within awareness. The ‘lord of all’ exists not as a distant condition but as your present consciousness. The moment you acknowledge your divine sonship, the servant role dissolves and you step into the kingly state. Neville’s method asks you to revise rather than resist: assume the completed state now, watch your imagination enact the reality, and feel it as your own. Speak from fullness, act from wholeness, and let the inner state reorganize your world. The law you see is the outward appearance of your inner conviction; grace is your unearned right as the I AM. Trust that the inheritance is yours today, and your life will align with that inner truth.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you already possess the entire estate of life; feel yourself acting as lord of all in your daily choices, and revise your self-image until 'I am the heir' is your living reality.
