Children of Faith, Abraham's Line

Galatians 3:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Galatians 3 in context

Scripture Focus

7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
Galatians 3:7

Biblical Context

The verse states that those who are of faith are the true descendants of Abraham; lineage is defined by belief rather than blood.

Neville's Inner Vision

To know you are of faith is to know you are a child of Abraham in your inner life. In Neville's mode, 'of faith' is a state of consciousness you consciously adopt, not a genealogical label. When you acknowledge that God is your I AM and your awareness, you enter the covenant not by lineage but by inner trust. Abraham’s promise is the inner conviction that the divine order governs your world; therefore, your thoughts, feelings, and reactions align with that covenant. If you entertain a belief that you are separated or lacking, you are stepping outside the line of covenant. Return to the inner assurance: I am the seed of Abraham because I trust the divine reality within me. The moment you identify with faith, you are already part of the promised lineage; time and blood barriers vanish in the light of awareness. Practice becomes the proof: dwell in the feeling that you belong to the faith-family now, and your outward life follows.

Practice This Now

In the next moment, plant the assumption: 'I am the child of Abraham by faith.' Close your eyes, feel the truth as a present-tense reality, and rest in it until it becomes your ordinary awareness.
