Inner Abraham: Faith's Lineage
Galatians 3:6-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Galatians 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Abraham's faith was counted as righteousness, and all who share that faith are his children. The Scripture foresaw that through faith God would justify the nations, making those of faith blessed along with Abraham.
Neville's Inner Vision
Paul’s words are not a distant doctrine but a doorway into your own consciousness. To be of faith is to be appended to the line of Abraham in your inner kingdom; righteousness comes not from outward works but from the belief that God is right where you are—the I AM. When you acknowledge that the Spirit of divine fidelity dwells in you, you are justified now, here: you awaken as the seed of Abraham, and the blessings that sprang from his faith flow through you. The 'heathen'—unreconciled appearances—are but thoughts that lose their grip the moment you insist on the gospel of truth within. In thee shall all nations be blessed is the inner gospel declaring that all life’s possibilities are blessed when faith governs your state of consciousness. Your identity is not a historical event but a present, living relation with God; you are the believer, and your inner world becomes the bloodline through which blessings appear in every outward form.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already the blessed descendant: repeat, 'I am the faithful Abraham; through faith I am justified and blessed.' Feel the inner certainty as your I AM affirming every area of life.
