Inner Baptism: Put On Christ
Galatians 3:27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Those baptized into Christ have put on Christ, meaning their inner identity is clothed with the Christ state. This is an inner transformation of consciousness rather than a mere external ritual.
Neville's Inner Vision
To be baptized into Christ is to immerse your awareness in the Christ I AM within. In Neville's terms, baptism is not a past event but a state of consciousness you enter now by turning attention away from the old self and into the I AM that you are. The word Christ is the quality of divine consciousness resident within you, waiting to be worn as your daily garment. When you put on Christ, you reaffirm that your present sense of self is the Christ self, unified, complete, and governed by love, harmony, and truth. The outer world then reflects this inward attire: decisions, health, relationships, and purpose align with the Christ state. Remember God is your I AM, the awareness that observes all experiences. The act of baptism is the act of revision spiritually, consciously declaring that you are already that which you desire, and letting the feeling of that truth fill your chest until it becomes your habitual scene.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, breathe, and imagine yourself stepping into a radiant baptismal light, then feel the words I am Christ and I have put on Christ as a present tense reality.
