24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Galatians 3:23-24

Biblical Context

Before faith came, we were kept under the law and shut up to the faith that was to be revealed. The law served as a schoolmaster leading us to Christ, so that we might be justified by faith.

Neville's Inner Vision

Take a moment with me. The law Paul speaks of is not an external command but the mind's old habit of striving, fear, and self-effort. It keeps us under a sense of separation, a state of 'I must do' until faith is revealed as inner awareness. Faith is the awakening to the I AM within—the Christ inside—through which we realize we are justified, not by works, but by the seeing of the one reality we are. When you recognize you are the living consciousness in which God dwells, the sense of being under the law dissolves. The law's 'schoolmaster' fulfills its purpose by guiding you to Christ within, not to a distant future but to a present state of being. In that moment of faith, you are no longer measured by rules, but by the assurance of your oneness with God. The shift from fear to faith is the liberation you sought; the kingdom of heaven is the awareness you carry now, here, in the I AM that you are.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of I AM, declaring, 'I am justified by faith, here and now.' Feel the inner Christ as your own awareness dissolving separation; revise any lack into fullness by dwelling in this faith.
