Inheriting by Promise Within

Think of Galatians 3:18 as a whisper to your inner life: the estate you seek cannot be earned by rules and strife, for the blessing is a gift of inner recognition. Abraham did not receive the promise by works; he rested in the awareness of what God already was to him. In this sense, the inheritance is the present state of being you awaken to when you accept that the I AM is your only law and your only ruler. The law, with its commandments and deeds, is the shadow of a belief in separation; the promise is the quiet recognition that you are already included in the divine intention. When you accept that the inheritance is by promise, you stop chasing effects outside and begin returning to the inner throne, to the feeling that you are the kept, the beloved of God—your true state that law cannot revoke. Your everyday world will reflect this inner true sonship as you align your imagination and feeling with that already-possessed reality.
