Biblical Context
Christ frees us from the law's curse by becoming a curse for us. Through faith, the blessing promised to Abraham comes to the Gentiles and we receive the Spirit.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, when Paul speaks of Christ redeeming us, he points to your inner state. The 'curse of the law' is the feeling of separation, guilt, and lack that you have accepted as real. The 'Christ' is the I AM within you, the divine awareness that bears every penalty and resurrects your sense of worth. To be 'made a curse' is to absorb the threat of judgment into your own consciousness, and in that act the boundary between you and God dissolves. Thus the blessing of Abraham can come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ—not as a distant doctrine, but as your immediate realization: Spirit within, blessing in mind, abundance in life by faith. Faith here is not doubtless belief but fidelity to your inner state, the willingness to inhabit the truth you are and slow-rewind the story of lack. When you rest in this inner truth, you invite the Spirit to flow as your daily experience, turning every circumstance toward fruitfulness and unity.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the feeling that you are already blessed, that the Spirit is your constant companion. Repeat a simple affirmation such as 'I am redeemed by the inner Christ; I live in Abraham's blessing through faith,' and dwell in that truth for several minutes.
