Inner Authority Beyond Titles
Galatians 2:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Galatians 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Outward status among the leaders means nothing; God accepts no one’s person, and those who seemed significant added nothing to Paul.
Neville's Inner Vision
Take Galatians 2:6 as a map of consciousness: the so-called men of status in conference are not the ones who certify your being. To the I AM within, outward titles, assemblies, or arguments carry no weight. Paul’s heart hears a deeper voice: God accepts no man’s person. When you imagine you are judged by rank or reputation, you have forgotten that your true authority rests in inner alignment with Spirit. The moment you refuse to let appearances decide you, you enter a space where ‘they seemed to be somewhat’ become a shadow that cannot touch your reality. In that state, you are free from the tyranny of others’ opinions and can listen to the one voice that never wavers—the self that is one with God. Your inner conference of judgments, bias, or fear dissolves as you dwell in the sense 'I am' as the basis of all right action. Your work, your words, your power are not conferred by men; they are actualized by your fixed awareness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the state 'I AM' as the only judge of worth, revising any external opinion as illusion. For five minutes, repeat with feeling, 'God accepts no man’s person; I am complete in Him,' and let that inner recognition settle as reality.
