Inner Union With Christ
Galatians 2:19-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul states that through the law he dies to the law, so he may live unto God; he is crucified with Christ, yet Christ lives in him, and the life he now lives is by faith in the Son of God.
Neville's Inner Vision
On the level of consciousness, you are not divided from God by rules; the law is seen as an outer structure that you have outgrown. When Paul says I through the law am dead to the law, he means the old self who measured life by performance is dissolved in your awareness, so you may live unto God in the present moment. The crucifixion is a symbolic awakening: the I AM, the true self, can live in you only when you stop identifying with the outward ego and allow that life to be expressed as you. The clause 'yet not I, but Christ liveth in me' declares a new arrangement of awareness: Christ's life flows through your consciousness, not by your striving but by the inner reality you accept. The life you now live in the flesh becomes the action of God-as-you, powered by the faith of the Son of God—faith not as belief alone but as trust in the I AM that loves you and gave itself for you. Thus Galatians invites you to dissolve separation and realize the seamless presence of God within, where imagination is the instrument by which you awaken to this union.
Practice This Now
Imaginatively assume that you are one with Christ, that the I AM within you is the source of every action. Revise any sense of separation by softly declaring 'Christ lives in me' and feel that living presence guiding your next moment as your own impulse.
