Reclaiming The Inner Gospel
Galatians 1:6-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Galatians 1 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul expresses astonishment that believers quickly turn from the grace of Christ to a different gospel. He warns that any other message perverts the gospel and should be avoided.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, Galatians speaks not to distant lands but to the inner theater of consciousness. The grace of Christ is your natural state of awareness—the vivid sense of I AM in which you know yourself as whole. When you entertain another gospel, you listen to a mis-tuned thought within your own being, a peripheral voice that would pervert the living gospel into rules, fears, or scarcity. The phrase let him be accursed is not a curse upon others but a warning to your mind: dismiss any belief not aligned with the original revelation you received about yourself. Even an angel from heaven, the highest wish of your imagination, cannot preach a gospel that denies your inherent grace and unity with Christ. To be called into the grace of Christ is to awaken to the I AM here and now; to be removed from it is to cling to images rather than the living presence. Stay faithful to the inner message you have received, and the outer world will reflect that truth.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume, I AM the grace of Christ within me now. If another thought arises, revise it by returning to the I AM and feeling the presence as your immediate reality.
