Grace Within The Gospel

Galatians 1:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Galatians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Galatians 1:6-7

Biblical Context

Paul expresses astonishment that believers are turning from the grace of Christ to an 'other gospel'; there is no real other gospel, only those who trouble and distort the message. The passage is read as a commentary on a shift in inner awareness away from the I AM toward fear or legalistic thinking.

Neville's Inner Vision

Paul’s words point to a fundamental shift of consciousness. The 'gospel' you cling to is not a new doctrine out there but a present realization of grace within your own mind. The 'other gospel' is the temptation to suppose you must earn or prove grace, to look to circumstances rather than the I AM as the source of all good. The trouble-makers are internal thoughts and external pressures that persuade you that you are distant from God or still lacking. In truth, grace is the state of consciousness in which you recognize your oneness with Christ; faith is the steady acknowledgment that the I AM is your reality here and now. When you feel pulled toward lack or fear, return to the simple premise: you are crowned by grace in every moment. Allow the gospel to be your inner law of being, not a distant rule to be followed.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare, 'I am in the grace of Christ now,' and feel the I AM radiating through you as your natural state of being.
