Galatians 1:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul asserts his divine calling, not from people but through Jesus Christ and the Father, who raised Jesus. The greeting extends to the Galatian churches, signaling inner unity.
Neville's Inner Vision
Paul stands not as a man built by councils, but as the I AM speaking through itself. The authority he bears is the recognition of God within—Jesus Christ and the Father—who raised him from the dead. In your inner life, resurrection is the waking of a life that was deadened by fear and doubt; the power that raised Jesus is the same power waking you to truth here and now. The apostolic greeting declares that you are called by the indwelling Power, not by human gatekeepers. The 'brethren with me' are the inner chorus— the allied states of consciousness— addressed to the inner churches of your dispositions. When you accept that outward credentials are only reflections of your inner alignment, you release attachment to approval and invite the light of awareness to illuminate. Authority becomes present-tense: I AM speaking; I AM awake; I AM authorized by God within. You stand in resurrection life, capable of guiding every inner congregation toward harmony and truth.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, declare 'I am the I AM; I am authorized by God within,' and feel the life-flood of that acceptance moving through you. Then write a short inner letter to your inner Galatia, affirming your release from man-made authority and your submission to the divine within.
