Ezra 7:21-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
An outward decree provides for Ezra's sacred work, illustrating how outer provision follows an inner order of faith. The real force is the inner I AM issuing the decree and moving what follows.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe that the king's decree is not a finite grant separate from Ezra's mission; it is the outward sign of a regal inner order. Ezra is described as 'the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven'—that is, the living law within you. The treasurers beyond the river are mere mirrors of your own unseen stores, ready to be commanded by the I AM that sits upon the throne of your chest. When you acknowledge that Providence is the ruler in you, the sum of silver, wheat, wine, and oil becomes symbolic of the sufficiency that attends every righteous task. The amount matters not; what matters is the certainty that the inner decree is already issued and immediately carried out by the outer world. This is the Neville method: identify the inner ruler, assume the end, and feel the reality in present tense. The lack dissolves as you stand in this authority, and the outward supply flows to meet the call of your inner law.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit with eyes closed, place a hand on your heart, and declare: I AM the decree; the supply now streams to me for the service I undertake. Feel the certainty in your chest and let action follow.
