Biblical Context

Chiefs came to the house of the LORD in Jerusalem and freely offered to set it up, illustrating generous, voluntary support for the temple project.

Neville's Inner Vision

Suppose the chiefs of my inner house approach the inner temple and freely offer their resources to set up the house of God within. The house of the LORD I seek is not a stone building but my state of awareness—the I AM that dwells behind every thought. When I offer freely—my attention, time, and energy—I declare that abundance is my natural mode and that my inner city is worth stewarding. The act is not about external generosity alone but about the alignment of mind and feeling: a willingness to place the most precious faculties into the temple where God resides. To set it up in his place means to arrange my thoughts, beliefs, and desires so that they support divine habitation. By giving, I demonstrate faith in the truth I am the I AM and that my imagination can build what I conceive. The inner temple grows as I persist in the assumption that I am already dwelling within a completed sanctuary. In vision and feeling, I see the temple rise, and the sight reforms my life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling that your inner temple is already established; imagine you are the chief bringing offerings of gratitude and focus to the inner house, and rest in that feeling as reality.
