Inner Remnant Within Ezekiel
Ezekiel 6:7-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God’s judgment comes; the slain show the consequence of hardness of heart. A remnant remains, and those spared remember the Lord, recognizing their turning away from idols.
Neville's Inner Vision
To my ear, the slain are the old identifications that died to the true I AM; the remnant is the steadfast state of awareness that endures the storm. When you find yourself scattered among the nations—your thoughts, habits, and conditions—remembering the Lord becomes a choice of inner alignment: you awaken from the dream of separation and stand in the knowledge 'I am the LORD,' the living awareness that animates all images of life. These events were not vanity but instruction in consciousness: the I AM does not abandon you; it invites you to release whorish loves and return to the one real relationship—the awareness within. Exile becomes a quiet turning inward, a homecoming to the I AM that dwells here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume the feeling of the I AM as your true identity; revise any memory of being governed by idols, and declare, 'I am the LORD' here and now, feeling the remnant within as your enduring center.
