Awakened Judgment Within You
Ezekiel 6:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse describes a divine judgment in which those who stand against truth fall in the midst of the people. Through this, the people come to know that the LORD is present and sovereign.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Ezekiel's decree, every external threat becomes an invitation to the interior. The 'slain' are not only physical violence but the inner judgments—habits, fears, and old identities that seem to govern you. When these inner ones fall in your midst, they reveal the truth you already know in your deeper I AM: God is present as awareness, not as a distant power. The moment you stop seeking outside signs and align with the truth that you are that I AM, you experience judgment as a purification that clears space for the LORD to reign within. The 'I AM' is your own state of consciousness; when you acknowledge it, the inner disturbance sinks, and the realization arises: I am the LORD, I reign over my inner landscape. This is Neville's practical path: assume the new self-image, revise what you take as fact, and feel it real now, until the outer world reflects your inner state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, revise your self-image to 'I AM the LORD,' and feel the inner disturbances fall away as you stand in that awareness. Let the scene linger until it feels inevitable, and notice any shift in your thoughts or mood.
