To Ezekiel’s hearing, God is not a distant judge but the I AM within you speaking through the words of scripture. 'Set thy face toward the mountains of Israel' is a instruction to fix your attention on the inner peaks of your being—the ideals, hopes, and visions you have built as the land of your future. 'Prophesy against them' means you name and revise the inner dispositions that have held you in bondage, not by condemnation but by the creative act of the spoken word within your own consciousness. When you declare the truth to those inner heights, you are not begging God to come into your life; you are inviting your awareness to assume the state of the man or woman who already walks upon those mountains. The word of the LORD is the living certainty of your I AM; it reorients your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions until your inner weather aligns with the ideal you call forth. The presence of God remains with you as you stand on the inner mountains, and your life follows the decree of your own fulfilled vision. Remember, nothing outside you changes until you change the inner image that governs your experience.
