Inner Judgment and Covenant
Ezekiel 5:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage says the people have twisted God’s judgments into wickedness, ignored His statutes, and thus became more guilty than the nations around them.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner Ezekiel speaks not of geography but a state of consciousness. When you say they have multiplied more than the nations, you are confessing that you have allowed your inner judgments to proliferate with fear, doubt, and the customs of a world you deem outside your own I AM. The statutes are not external laws but habitual ways you live by, the agreements you entertain in your mind about what is possible, what is worthy, what is safe. To outstrip the nations around you means you have not walked in the living commandments of your own being, the ones that would sustain you in any calamity because they are the very energy of attention you feed. The remedy is inner reversal: assume the state in which you already obey the divine judgments, the laws that align with your I AM. Feel for a moment the inner consistency of that state. Let your imagination revise the past and foretell a present where your actions flow from that truth. In that mood, the city becomes calm and the old judgments lose their power.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, breathe, and declare I am the I AM; I revise all judgments to align with my divine statutes. Then imagine stepping into a scene where you walk in that new state and see the surrounding nations fade into calm inner attitudes.
