Inner Judgment Manifestation

Ezekiel 5:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 5 in context

Scripture Focus

15So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.
Ezekiel 5:15

Biblical Context

The verse says that their condition will be a reproach and a taunt to the surrounding nations, as God enacts judgments.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner world is the nation that lies round about you. When you cling to an old belief or fear, you invite a dramatic inner convulsion—the 'judgments'—to purge the state from the soul. The reproach and taunt are simply the echo of your old self being exposed to the light of awareness. The I AM, the Lord within, does not punish you but tests the boundary between what you accept and what you refuse to accept. The 'nations' around thee are the thoughts, habits, and scenarios that circle your mind; their astonishment is merely the appearance to you, a mirror that your inner state cannot hide. When you imagine a new you, when you assume the end, these judgments dissolve the old picture, leaving a new conviction to radiate outward. You are not at the mercy of fate; you are the living decree that speaks the truth of what you are willing to accept as real. Speak as the I AM now and revise in your imagination; feel the weight of a new certainty, and watch the world be rearranged to reflect it.

Practice This Now

Identify a lingering belief and revise it by declaring it, 'I AM the I AM, now.' Feel that certainty saturate you until your outer world begins to reflect it.
