Inner Zeal and Exile Awakening
Ezekiel 5:13-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God's anger is portrayed as a purifying force that accomplishes zeal, exposing the inner order and initiating judgment that results in exile and reproach.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this Ezekiel passage, the anger of the LORD becomes an inner decree spoken by your own I AM. The 'them' upon whom the fury rests are not distant people but your own limiting beliefs, stale identities, and fear-based habits. When the I AM proclaims 'I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal,' it is your awareness affirming that you have chosen, in imagination, to end the old pattern with zeal and certainty. The coming waste and the reproach among the nations signify the clearing away of deceptive images—what you once called solid reality is shown to be only a collection of thoughts outside alignment with your true state. As you accept this inward judgment, you become the instrument through which a new order arises. The world you witness is the dream you hold, and the judgments you execute in awareness restructure the landscape of your life. So, stay with the feeling of completion; let your inner decree stand, and watch as your outer circumstances realign to match your inner truth.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM is speaking within you now; declare, 'I have spoken it in my zeal, and it is done' and feel the reality of that completion. Then revise any self-doubt by reimprinting your self-image with the calm, purified authority of the I AM.
