River of Life Within

Ezekiel 47:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 47 in context

Scripture Focus

9And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
Ezekiel 47:9

Biblical Context

Life follows the flow of a renewing river. Wherever the waters move, life appears and healing follows.

Neville's Inner Vision

The river is not a map to some distant place but the current of consciousness you hold in awareness. Ezekiel tells you that wherever this life-current flows, all that moves within you is revived; the 'fish' multiplying speaks to the flourishing thoughts and feelings that fill your inner sea when you surrender to the flow. In this light, 'the waters shall come' means your attention opens to a new motion of imagination—nurturing, healing, renewing. God is your I AM, the ever-present watcher who says, 'Let there be life' and life responds. When you accept the premise that your inner state is alive and served by this healing stream, you witness a renewal at once practical and spiritual: old patterns bogging you down are carried away by the current; the inner landscape becomes a thriving multitude of living possibilities. The healing comes to every level—body, mind, emotion—as you dwell in the truth that the river of life is always moving through you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume: I am the river of life within me; wherever I place my attention, I thrive. Feel the current as you go about today, and revise any state that feels dry by surrendering to this living flow.
