Biblical Context
Ezekiel 47:22-23 teaches that the land is divided for the people and that the strangers living among them must receive an inheritance equal to that of native-born Israelites. In plain terms, every part of the community is acknowledged and given a rightful place.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the land Ezekiel speaks of as the unfolding field of your own consciousness. When he says you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, he is not talking about geography but about a universal arrangement within you: every aspect of your being is legitimate, and none may be cast out. The stranger who begets children among you is a state of awareness that has come into your life and taken shape; to treat it as born in the country among the children of Israel is to acknowledge that it belongs here with equal claim. This is covenant loyalty in action: you do not abandon any segment of yourself; you grant it inheritance among the tribes of your soul. The effect is inner unity—when you affirm this, the tribes of your mind knit together as one nation. The outward world must follow the alignment of your inner state, for imagination creates reality.
Practice This Now
For five minutes, close your eyes and imagine a stranger within you being given full inheritance; repeat I and this part are one tribe until you feel it as real.
