Inner Borders of Consciousness
Ezekiel 47:15-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 47 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The text names the northern, eastern, southern, and western borders of the land, defining a complete boundary that marks a covenantal territory.
Neville's Inner Vision
Take Ezekiel’s borders as your interior map. The land described north south east and west is the boundary of your present state of consciousness, drawn by what you accept as possible. The sea before you is not geography but the infinity of God, the I AM in you. The way of Hethlon and the borders near Damascus and Hamath are your habitual thoughts and feelings that guide you toward or away from your desired state. When you dwell in one assured feeling that you are already the Kingdom, you extend the border outward, making the entire territory your nature. Covenant loyalty is your fidelity to that arising state; Providence guides your movements as you hold the new image. The border from the great sea to the land marks the movement from raw potential to a defined life; the east side measured from Jordan represents linking your present I AM with every direction of life. The borders are not fetters but interior limits you may revise by the assumption I AM and by feeling it real until the borders yield to the majesty of your present Kingdom.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you already inhabit the Kingdom within. Feel the borders of your consciousness expanding as you affirm I AM the presence of God in me now.
