Inner Inheritance and Authority
Ezekiel 46:16-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 46 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The prince represents the outer ego managing a kingdom of possessions. The passage instructs that inheritance remains with sons, gifts to servants are temporary until liberty, and the prince must not oppress the people, so the community remains unified rather than scattered.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Ezekiel's measure, the prince is the outer self—an administrator of a living kingdom inside you. The inheritance is not just wealth but states of consciousness—peace, justice, steadfast protection—by which you order your inner world. When you understand that gifts may be given to the inner sons, you revise ownership from force to stewardship; these gifts become channels through which your consciousness expresses, not controls. The year of liberty signals that no outward possession can finally bind you; your true wealth remains in the awareness that gives and governs with justice. Oppression is the dream of lack; ruling from awareness means your inner riches circulate in harmony, blessing every part of your being and keeping your kingdom intact. If you awaken to this, you stop scattering your realm and learn to rule by love, clarity, and rightful possession that stays with you as you move through life.
Practice This Now
Assume the posture of the inner prince now. Close your eyes, picture the inner treasury, and declare: 'All my inheritance resides in my awareness, and I give to my inner sons from my own possession without fear; what I give returns in liberty and wholeness; I oppress no part of my being.' Then feel the relief and unity as if it's already true.
