Inner Gate Sabbath Worship
Ezekiel 46:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 46 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage describes an eastern gate to the inner court that opens on sabbath and the new moon; the prince enters, offerings are made, and worship takes place at the gate's threshold, with the gate remaining open until evening, while the people worship at the gate's door.
Neville's Inner Vision
The gate is not a door of stone but a state of consciousness you must keep open when you honor the inner sabbath and the new moon of renewal. The six working days its gate is shut; the prince, the faithful, stands at the post, preparing and offering in the mind. You are the temple; the offerings are thoughts and feelings, becoming holy and aligned with the covenant of inner loyalty. The priests are your disciplined faculties, offering gratitude and harmony. At the threshold you worship—this is the moment your consciousness attunes to the Presence of God within. Then you go forth, keeping the gate open through the evening, sustaining a divine ruling in your day. It is covenant loyalty enacted in consciousness, not in time and space.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of the I AM now: see the eastern inner gate opening on your chosen sabbath or new moon, step through, offer your gratitude, and linger in the felt presence of God.
